Why do they call it 'Happy Hour' when it lasts for 3 hours? What's the deal with all the other hours...aren't they happy? If "Happy Hours" are so great, wouldn't "Ecstatic Hours" be even greater?

We get questions like this all the time, and we've got to tell you, you ask weird questions and your grammar sucks.

What doesn't suck is our specials. Like our Happy Hour, which runs from 4pm to 8pm every Monday, and Tuesday, also on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. That's 4 whole hours each day for 5 days, which is like a whopping 20 hours every week (about 1200 minutes…or somewhere in the neighborhood of 72,000 seconds…now you know). That's a whole lotta happy!

During Happy Hour, you can get the following daily kibble special for only $3. Yep, three bucks. Nice cheap snack before dinner, or instead of dinner (says Jay).

• Monday - Wings (doz)
• Tuesday - Cheesy Bacon Fries
• Wednesday - Mozzarella Sticks
• Thursday - Spicy Chicken Nuggets
• Friday - Onion Rings

We have a new special. On the last Saturday of every month you get a 1/2 priced growler with purchase of a 25 oz mug of Beer. Lucky you!

We could also tell you about our daily lunch specials. Yep, we got 'em. Come 'n get 'em.

Beer U Class Starting 03/06

Not sure if you can tell a Pilsner from a Porter or a Steam from a Stout? Our friends at Beer University have a class starting on March 6, 2008. In the class, you'll learn more about the drink you love! In this class, you'll explore the vast and diverse world of beer… the oldest and still most popular adult beverage on the planet. Topics will be discussed such as the brewing process, styles and types of beer, food pairings and cooking with beer, cultural and social aspects, etc. You'll sample several beers and learn there's more to a good beer than a good logo and marketing team. Must be 21+.
Our Brewmaster, Travis, has been known to drop in on these classes from time to time…be sure to keep an eye out for him. Third Base Brewery is the recommended study center for all Beer University classes and programs.
